Legislative Report #8 - Final Report

Dear brothers and sisters,

The 2010 session of the Indiana General Assembly has finally
adjourned. Months of preparation and hard work by the FOP  Legislative
Committee have paid off. We had a good session and accomplished much for our
members. Our defensive posture on many critical bills also paid off and we
effectively blocked a lot of bad legislation. All of this was done with the
assistance of many friends and colleagues, legislators and members. The
Legislative Committee wishes to thank the Indiana Professionals Firefighters
Association, the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns, and all who
assisted us when called upon.

Please take a few minutes and review the attached Final Report to
see what passed and what we were able defeat. Complete reports will be
presented at the Spring Board meeting and at the State Conference. If you
